Vaazhakkai Poriyal

Vaazhaikai poriyal is one of my favourite poriyals.I used to buy this rarely. This tastes very good with crunchiness. You can prepare this dish very quickly and pair it up with rice and any kuzhambu.

Vaazhakkai(Raw banana) is a unripen stage of Banana. One  benifit of Raw banana is the high resistant starch content.Unripe bananas also have pro-biotic bacteria,a friendly bacterium that helps with good colon health.Raw bananas also help you absorb nutrients better, particularly calcium.Very healthy food for Type 2 Diabetes.
