Paneer Fried Rice is kids most favourite variety rice.They will ready to eat every day without boring.You can pack this for kids lunch pack happily.
I always love and prefer to make variety rice atleast 4days in a week which is so easy and interesting.Any manchurian,dry curry is a perfect combo to variety rice,specially paneer fried rice.I add carrot & capsicum with paneer which tastes great.
Paneer Fried Rice :
Thats it : Cook Rice - Fry ings. - Mix Both
Cooking Time :15mins
(Soaking Time : 20mins)
Serves : 2Persons
Basmati Rice - 1Cup
Salt - 1tsp
Ghee / Oil - 3drops
Ghee / Butter - 1/2 tsp
Paneer - 1Cup (100gms)
Olive Oil - 1tbsp
Garlic - 2tbsp
Green Chilli - 1
Spring Onion - 4Tbsp Onion,1Tbsp leaves
Carrot - 1/4 Cup
Capsicum - 1/4 Cup
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Soya Sauce - 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder - 3/4 tsp
Salt - 3Pinches
# Keep immersing the paneer cubes/paneer block in boiled hot water(add after switch off) for 10mins.
[Or Thaw it for 30mins after taken from freezer]
# Soak basmati rice in water for 20mins.Rinse and drain it properly.
# Chop the veggies finely.
1.In cooker pan add 1Cup basmti rice,1/2Cup water,salt and make it boil with low-medium flame.After it starts boiling add 3drops of ghee/oil and close the lid.Wait for 1whistle and switch off the flame.
After pressure releases,gently stir with a fork spoon and keep aside open(without closing the lid).
2.Heat a pan with low flame and add 1/2 tsp of ghee.Meanwhile cut the paneer block gently as small by cutting half and add it to the pan.Toast it for 2-3mins till it looks golden brown colour.Keep aside.
[If you are using paneer cubes,just cut by half for better munch]
3.In the same pan,add 1tbsp of ghee,chopped garlic,green chilli,spring onion and fry for 2mins.
Add carrot,capsicum,soya sauce,sugar,3pinches salt and toast in a medium-high flame for 2mins.
Now add cooked rice,paneer cubes and mix well for 1min.Switch off the flame.
Paneer Fried Rice is Ready...!!!
