I usually prepare vendakai pachadi or vendakai poriyal with vendakai/okra.Last week My Man told me this idea to make it as a starter with a diagonal cut.I simply prepare with besan flour and riceflour,it came out well with crispiness and tastes great.
Lady's Finger Fry Recipe :
Thats it : Marinate Okra - Deep Fry

Lady's Finger / Vendakai / Okra - 300gms
Besan Flour / Kadala Maavu - 3Tbsp
Rice Flour - 1Tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste / Jeera pdr - 1/2 Tsp
Turmeric Pdr - 1/4 Tsp
Red chilli pdr - 3/4 Tsp
Coriander pdr - 1/4 Tsp
Salt - 1/2 Tsp+
Oil - 1Tbsp
Oil - Deep fry
1.Rinse the Lady's finger well and drain the water completely.Now pat dry it with towel to absorp excess water.It prevents sticking.
2.Trim the head and tail edges and cut diagonally.Now in a bowl,add all the spice powders mix roughly then add okras.Toss well for the better coating.Check for the salt and spiciness.
3.Heat a kadai with enough oil in medium heat.Add coated okras to the hot oil carefully till it becomes crisp and brown in colour.Drain it in tissue paper.

You can also replace ginger-garlic paste with perungayam-3pinches.
