Green Gram Dal with Jaggery l Kids Healthy Snacks

Sprouts has a good amount of protein and other nutritient also.Sprouts, one of the best foods if you are looking for weight loss ,as it has fewer calories which helps to keep your weight under control.
I always include green gram dhal or chickpeas to our weekly menu, preferrably sprouted.I served 1/2Cup cooked dal along with our breakfast.Gauthik likes this,so i used to pack nearly 1/4Cup in his lunchbox too. When my mom was here, she used to prepare green gram dal stuffed idli (cooked green gran dal+jaggery),so after preparing idlies, she served the remaining dal to gauthik,he loves it totally and ask for more. This stuffed idli is called as senai idli in my hometown Tirunelveli, relatives prepare this idli for pregnancy ladies when they visit them after hearing the news of pregnancy.Nowadays,i served cooked green gram dhal for gauthik with a dash of salt,if he returns something in a bowl, immedietely i add jaggery to it and serve to him.

You can also stuff these mixture while making idlies and serve.Add little amount of idli batter to the idli mould, then 1tbsp of this stuffing then add batter a little to cover this, steam it and serve it plain or along with coconut chutney.
