Eggless Whole Wheat Banana Cake is a must try one when you have leftover ripen bananas in hand.This cake is my 2nd try,it tastes so good.Gautham was on holiday when i baked this cake two weeks back.So i used chocochip as per his request.He always loved/helped me in baking preparation like measuring the ingredients,whisking,mixing till the whole process get done.Surprise your kids by preparing this yummy and healthy cake.

I referred 'raks kitchen' and altered slightly as per my family preference.I skipped cocoa powder as My Man loves vanilla flavour.
Eggless Whole Wheat Banana Cake :
Thats It : Mash Banana - Mix with other ings. - Bake
Preparation Time : 15mins
Baking Tinme : 35-40mins
Yields : 12small sized cakes
Whole Wheat Flour 11/4Cup
Banana (ripen) 2big nos.
Powdered Sugar 1Cup (from 3/4cup sugar)
cooking Oil 1/3Cup (any flavourless)
Water 1/3Cup + 1tbsp
Baking Powder 3/4tsp
Lemon Juice 1tsp from a lemon
Choco chips 1/4Cup
# Measure all the ingredients and keep them ready.
# Powder the sugar.
# Start by grease a baking pan with butter and add a tbsp of flour,spread the flour throughout the sides of the pan by tilting.Now invert and pat the baking pan to remove the excess flour.
# Preheat the oven at 180C.
2.Add whole wheat flour,all purpose flour,baking powder and salt by sieving,roughly mix it.Now the mixture looks crumbled in texture.
3.Add oil,water,lemon juice and mix it well without any lumps.
4.Pour in cake batter into the butter greased baking pan and level it.Now add choco chips on the top of the cake batter.
4.Keep your baking pan into the pre-heated oven and bake it for 35mins or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.
5.Now insert the toothpick/knife at the centre of the baked cake,if it comes out clean,your cake is baked completely.Cool down for 5mins,run the knife through sides,invert it and cool down completely.

1.You can also use 100% of all purpose flour by skipping whole wheat flour.
2.Mix choco chips into the batter too,mix it before pouring into the pan.
3.Ripen bananas gives soft texture and taste to the cake.
4.Greasing a pan is optional for this cake as this cake have oil in it so the chances of getting burnt is less.
