Paneer Rollups / Paneer Bread Rollups



Bread rollups are very interesting dish which i love to pack for Gauthik's tiffin box.He loves to eat bread roll ups with any stuffing part.His favourite is paneer stuffing so i preapared the stuffing,make paneer sandwich for both of us and roll ups for him.I love to roll with dates paste/hummus/nutella for his bread rollups.Here,i include nuts powder as a secret ingredient to my paneer stuffing.You can accompany this paneer stuffing for your roti,chapathi,sandwich.This way you can serve them by adding their least favourite ingredients.Serve this yummy roll ups with ketchup.



Paneer bread RollUps :
Thats It : Paneer Stuffing - Rollin bread - Toast
Total Time :
Paneer Stuffing - 15mins (Yields 2Cups)
Roll Ups            - 5mins

Ingredients :

Paneer Stuffing :
Oil  / Butter / Olive Oil       1tbsp
Cumin seeds / Fennel eeds  1tsp (jeeragam or sombu)
Garlic Pods                          3
Green Chilli                         2
Big Onion                            1
Tomato Or Lemon               1/2
Capsicum                             1/2Cup
Turmeric Powder                 1/4tsp (optional)
Sambar Powder                   1/2tsp
Crumbled Paneer              2Cups
Nuts Powder                        1tbsp
Salt                                       to taste
[* skip spice powders and add oregano,chilli flakes and white pepper powder]

Bread RollUps :
Butter                      1tbsp
Bread slices            3nos[i used wholewheat breads]
Cheese                     3tbsp (optional,i skipped)


Procedure :
   
# Thaw Frozen paneer cubes/block at room temperature  OR immerse it in hot water for 10mins.Drain the water.  


# Crumble it by using your hands.


# Chop Veggies

1.Heat a pan with oil,add cumin seeds/fennel seeds,chopped green chilli and garlic fry for a min then add chopped onion,fry for couple of minutes.[no need to brown the onion]


2.Add chopped tomato,capsicum,turmeric powder,sambar powder and salt,fry for a min and close the lid and cook for 3-4mins.


3.Now add crumbled paneer,mix it really well,add (the secret ingredient)nuts powder and cook for a minute.Switch Off the flame.Squeezing lemon here is very little as i added tomato already.Mix it well and keep aside for cooling down.

4.Take the required amount of bread slices and trim the edges.Now take a rolling pin/roti roller and roll it good so that it becomes flat and lengthy.Add 2tbsp of paneer stuffing,cheese and carefully roll it tightly(not to tight).Dip your finger in water and apply it the end of your roll and seal it.


5.Heat a tawa,grease it with butter,place the bread rolls on it and toast every side for 30secs till it get brown in colour and cheese melts.


Serve it with tomato Ketch Up/Mayonnaise.

Yummy & Healthy Paneer Roll Ups are ready !!!


Notes :
1.I squeezed a juice from recently used lemon as i already added tomato here.So u choose any one ingredient either tomato or lemon.
2.You can also add chopped coriander leaves finally for garnishing,i skipped.
3.Adding nuts powder is optional its the best way to include in kids diet.
4.Use any bread variety,i  used wholewheat breads here.
5.Prepare this roll ups for snacks time OR make the paneer stuffing then make sandwich for elders,roll uos for kids.Paneer stuffing goes well with roti.
6.Cooking by closing the lid is optional.Most of the kids reject capsicum for its crunch texture so i cook covered for getting softer.
